Sooo this week was amazing!!! The work here is picking up soo fast! We now have 10 total baptisms! 7 of them are convert baptisms! the other three are kids we teach its just that they are 8 so it doesnt count for a convert baptism! And we get to go to every general conference if we bring an investigator! :) Mom i met an elder jackson who knows uncle paul. he served with him in scouts and thats what reactivated him now he is on a mission thought that was cool! So we had a pretty intense lesson with an inactive family and at the end of the lesson the dad said umm elder carpenter you definitely dont act like a greeny, keep up the good work! it meant alot to me. There is more but i will tell you about it in my letter home! Yeah so ive only paid for like 2 meals while ive been here! in fact one guy came up to pay for us and the lady at the register said its already been takin care of! the members here are super nice and supportive! i love them! Okay so this sunday was insane! Had a talk at 9 in the morning and 3 young women lessons! haha one of which we over booked so elder bennett and i split and taught 1 by ourselves! it went amazing though! i loved it! Attending the temple every week is so awesome! i love it too haha i committed my first person to baptism this week and he accepted! it was soooooo awesome! im going baptism happy now haha im committing to others on wednesday! its what they tell us to do! and the kid i committed was the first lesson and first time to meet with them! it was amazing! Thats about it! my testimony continues to grow each and every day! I love the people here! Its really starting to grow on me! oh and another inactive family made us cookies and dropped it off for us and told us thanks for the help! Next week will be their third sunday in a row which means they will be reactivated! They are an amazing family! Ive learned so much because of them! I hope everything is going well back home :) i love you all!
Sincerely, Elder Carpenter
